How can components of a brand reflect a company that provides automated pharmaceutical delivery?
In this collaborative project, my team conceptualized a company that could compete within today’s technologically advanced market. Our challenge was to develop a concise and strategic brand platform, a descriptive name, and a corresponding visual identity.

Investigation

User personas developed by me

We first conceptualized this company that uses automated vehicles to deliver immobilized people their pharmaceutical needs. Our user persona research involved understanding the reasons someone might be immobilized. This word describes those with physical disabilities, people without personal vehicles, and those who work from home.
Process
First iteration of mission statement
Final iteration of mission statement
Before pulling out the sketchpads, the primary step was to develop the brand platform. Our mission statement was made concise and unique by making specific and meaningful visions, core values, and objectives. The company’s name required not only a creative twist of words but also awareness of the available internet domains. This research was led mainly by Jack Randall and Michael Florez. We determined ZipCap to be the appropriate name.
Avenir Medium was our starting point for the wordmark
My task was to adapt the type to appear more “capsule-like”
The brandmark would need to communicate our company’s pharmaceutical commitment and its promise of speedy delivery. The final iteration was a simple representation of the word ZipCap, ensuring that people understand the two concepts in both parts of the word.
